Latest version of OBS 27.2.0 seems to work smoother, but now uses allot more CPU

Few odd problems I've noticed, while OBS seems to run smoother for the most part, here are some issues that have started happening:
  1. Virtual Camera output is now very laggy, but recording is smooth
  2. video capture device (v42l) seems to randomly loose it's device settings while recording or streaming
  3. CPU usage used to be around 18-22% now it's hitting 35-47%.
  4. Logfile is showing everything is starting, but a LOG ANALYSIS says my NVENC Encoders never start.
Anyone else experiencing these problems?

I just noticed a similar problem last night. I'm now no longer able to stream and record simultaneously because it's maxing my CPU. Both of my recordings and streams are using one of the NVENC encoders

What specific version is this referring to? 27.2.0 or 27.2.1?

I'm showing my system updating to OBS 27.2.0 on February 15th (not automatic updates, so this could have been released before February 15th)

I'm showing my system updating to OBS 27.2.1 on February 21st (again, not automatic updates - but this date seems to coincide a bit with the OP)

I have not yet used OBS 27.2.1 for any streaming or production. But I have used OBS 27.2.0 in streaming and production and don't recall any issues.

Just wondering if I need to be concerned about streaming with OBS 27.2.1 or if the OP is really referring to OBS 27.2.0?

I just updated to 27.2.1 last night and things seem to be working fine again, actually better than before. I'm running multiple scenes for active (camera/mic), stand by (music playing), a video and slide show (movie sound playing ducked to my mic), and a technical difficulties scene (music playing). and not exceeding 23% now. So they fixed something, still have the occasional issue of the camera setting disappearing during a virtual camera or recording.
