Hey all
Started using OBS for the first time a week ago and been learning the ins and outs, used this forum for a lot of my answer seeking so thankyou for that!
Im on
Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB
I struggled to find a version of OS to run, 19.0.3 is what finally worked.
From watching and reading various tutorials learning to do thngs ive noticed there are certain options within OBS that I dont have access to, I assume this is just the consequence of my dated version. So my first question woud be; is there a later version of OBS that i should be able to run on my hardware that i've missed?
And if not, the main issue i've come to is adjusting settings for my webcam. I bought a new HD USB Cam and its a bit laggy. Research has shown me i should be able to adjust the Resolution Time among other things by right clicking the source and going into properties, but i do not have these same setting options.
Furthermore. My use of OBS is to record gaming videos for youtube. I am using Openemu, and have found that running GBA or prior emulators, the frame rate is fine, but NDS onwards, it becomes incredibly laggy while running along with OBS. Is this again, a result of my hardware? or is there anything i can do? (I have done my own research into this and various tutorials and help threads suggest a number of settings, i have tried a variety, and none have helped so far with this specific issue, but any help with this would still be greatly appreciated.
sorry for the long post.
