I have been having issues with OBS and black screen when using Display Capture. I tried all the ways I found to fix it (most of which can be found here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/laptop-black-screen-when-capturing-read-here-first.5965/). In the past switching to integrated graphics from the Nvidia control panel worked. But this time it wasn't working. So I removed the obs profile from the control panel and added it back in. That did the trick. This may not be everyone's issue but this is what helped me.
