Question / Help Laptop stream

I have decent laptop, fast enough internet for good stream. Whenever I stream, my stream is laggy but I don't lag at all. How do i make it less lag on stream. Do i just keep lowering the bitrate or? I am not running like any other programs to overkill my cpu. Just obs, game, and music

It's intel core i5-6200u cpu 2.3ghz

6g memory

intel hd grahpics 520

you cant stream with a dual core processor you need at least a quad core processor and also need a good graphics card sorry man obs uses a lot of processor resources i stream from a laptop ive tried streaming with a dual core laptop a while ago and it just doesnt work

You're going to have to use quicksync because a laptops cpu is just not good enough for x264 (software) encoding

Post your obs log just in case

I stream fine on a laptop with no issues but thats because of the quad core processor it has a dual core is really hard to get to work because it only has 2 cores the 6200u is not the best processor for streaming so you will have all sorts of problems
