Laptop on internet, great speed but OBS seems to think theres no signal, won't stream!

nope, not great Internet

so your laptop isn't up to what you are asking it to do. your settings may need adjusting
and of course, don't use WiFi

thanks for replying - i had done a speed test and my upload was great but i didn't stick around to see my upload speed was non existant = thanks - deleting this - DAMN SPECTRUM!!!
