Question / Help Laptop, Black Screen when capturing post needs update

I am one of the many who has issues with NVIDIA graphics cards and display capture on their laptop. Window capture works ok, but display capture just shows a black screen. I do a lot of tutorials and the like for my students, so capturing my entire display is necessary.

The 2013 post has outdated information. NVIDIA has phased out the Control Panel for a number of Windows Laptop products (it doesn't even open on my laptop - specs attached), so there is no longer a clear way to use Integrated Graphics with OBS. A back and forth with NVIDIA support had them suggesting Bandicam (which worked just fine for me for display capture, if anyone is looking for an alternative. Of course you need to pay if you want to use it more than 10 min).

Are there any plans to fix this issue? Or is there a known workaround to use integrated graphics without NVIDA Control Panel? I'd much rather continue to use and support OBS than move to Bandicam.

I would really appreciate a response or acknowledgement of this, even if it is to say that nothing can be done.

Again, I cannot follow the advice in the forum post from 2013, because NVIDIA control panel no longer works on many laptops. What can I do if I want to use display capture?
