Question / Help Laptop Black Screen Fix Not Working (did "Read Me First " thread)

I would really appreciate some help. I have a Sony A6400 and bought a Cam Link to connect to my computer(s) as a web cam. On my desktop all in one, HP Envy, I installed OBS, plugged in camera, and it worked perfectly.

Then on my HP Spectre Laptop I did the same but get the black screen. I opened the control panel for NVIDIA, went to Manage 3D settings, under program settings I browsed to c:\program files (x86)\obs-studio , restarted computer, and still get black screen.

What am I missing or doing wrong please?

I did notice in the NVIDIA Control panel, there is a 3rd set of options for "3. Specify the settings for this program" with a lot of options...

Hi,

I Am having the same issue have with my Spectre x360 .

I can record window source with success and no issues.

Have set NIVIDIA setting as instructed to intergrated for OBS program.

Source is blank as in black for display capture for source.

How did you fix the issue?
