I've somehow managed to shift entirely into the German language version of OBS. I con't work out how I did this, or how to get back into the English version. Help!

I've found the answer by reading the Settings screen properly - there it is, 'Language', at the top of the General page. I must have accidentally clicked in the wrong place. Should have been more thorough at an earlier stage - but as a newcomer to OBS I am finding it valuable, yes, but very complex.

Whenever I get a new piece of software, I navigate through every menu and every dialog. Not to change anything, but to get an idea what functions, options and settings the app might provide. It gets more difficult the more visual an app is, but a baseline set of configuration options will never cease to exist.

Actually, the worst accidental misconfiguration is probably the setting of a foreign language, since every option converts to incomprehensible gibberish, but OBS is really exemplary in this regard. The only thing you need to find is the button that corresponds to opening the settings window. After that, the language setting is the option that is always opened first and at the top. The very first option at all. I compliment him whoever thought of this.
