Question / Help Laggy Stream no Matter What Settings

I have been playing around with my settings for awhile now. trying to stream fortnite.
Comp Specs:
CPU: i7-6700HQ @2.6GHz
GPU: NVidia 980M
RAM: 16GB

I have played around with the output scaled resolution, and bit rate. Got it to run smooth while running around in certain areas, lags in stream during building, quick movement, or when there is a lot to render.

Game play is fine. I have view distance at epic, everything else is low or off, Post processing is at High. capped my frame rate in game at 60.

Any help to get it running smooth would be very appreciated.

Update to the newest OBS version and limit ingame FPS and details, until your GTX 960M is able to render OBS frames + run fortnite without reaching over 95% GPU load.
74.8% rendering lag is a lot and this is due to GPU overload.
