Question / Help Laggy Recordings But ONLY When Not Streaming?

I'm currently not home so I can't post a log at the moment but will be glad to later today. Wondering if somebody might have a general idea of what could be causing my issue.

Every time I stream I also record my stream through OBS. I NEVER have a issue with video lag/quality and use a lot of my stream footage for YouTube videos with no issues. Any time I just simply hit Record and I'm not streaming the video footage lags.

I dropped the bitrate down to 1000 just to test and it still happens.

Did you hase an SSD installed?
if yes there are some SSDs on the market they drop heavy in speed after a few GB continous writing/reading
and its a very common problem

I doubt that would be it cause it happens as soon as i hit record.
