Question / Help Laggy footage

Hi i have been recording gameplay on arma 3, had 4 nights with good footage capture no problems.(here i was playing normal arma, no zeus) I tried to record while playing Zeus in arma and the footage was laggy and not usable.
I am recording to seperate harddrive than the game is stored on.
i have tried to reinstall OBS but without sucsess.
Hardware: i5-6600k, GTX-1060, 16GB RAM.
Please let me know if you need more information on my end :D
Things i have tried: Running both game and OBS as admin.

Turn on Vsync or cap your games framerate to 60. This should free up some resources to allow OBS to encode with.
