I've recently discovered OBS and am loving it. However I have an issue that I can resolve.
In a recent livestream using OBS, conferencing in people through Skype using the NDI plugin. Everything works well before streaming but once streaming or recording there is so much lag, in very choppy audio. I see the frame rate is about 15ish. I'm adding the local video (from a DSLR into Blackmagic Ultra Studio) as an NDI source so everyone on the call can see what the camera sees.
I think the issues just come down to processing power. Since this macbook is fairly old, I'm considering getting a new computer with most of the highest end specs. Would this solve the issues?
