Question / Help Laggy/Choppy Recordings

Hey everyone. I have tried setting up OBS Studio to record Battlefield One however all of my recordings are laggy/choppy and freeze even though what I see in game is above 120 frames.

After a recent test, turning on vsync made the lag a bit less. Should I do this or change something in my settings of OBS Studio.
