Question / Help Laggy and Choppy recording pls help

So I before i recorded with high settings on obs studio with 1920x1080 and record 165 fps without any frames dropping at all, but i stopped playing for 6 months n come back I cannot record, my recording playback is like laggy and choppy and when im recording 165 frames, the frames drop on obs studio where it shows fps it drops from 165 to 50 and bumps up to 100 n back down etc.

My specs are
x570 Asus Mobo
Ryzen 7 3700x CPU
RTX 2060 6GB GPU

why are you recording at 165fps? keep it at a solid 60 max.

ive always recorded with 165 without an issue so when i render my game i render in 144 frames

but nothing supports 144 fps. youtube maxes at 60. that's what im getting at.
