So I run a dual pc setup, my gaming rig is a medium priced prebuilt desktop pc and my streaming rig is a pretty high end laptop. I'm using the elgato hd60s to capture from my gaming rig to the streaming laptop. For months now I haven't ran into much problems with this setup. I usually use streamlabs obs to stream but recently when ever I'm in a scene with the elgato capture whether im streaming or just viewing the preview without streaming theres a lot of lag and delay or choppiness in the video.
I switched back to regular obs and seemed to fix the issue but now even with obs studio im running into the same problem, again even while not being live just viewing the preview.
When I go the the elgato capture program the video preview is perfect, no delay or lagging. This just recently started happening and I cant figure out for the life of me why this is happening. In the log I went live for a short time and was just moving my character around in the dayz home menu, not even loaded into the game and moving my character and mouse I can see its not right, let alone when im in game. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I cant even stream my gameplay anymore as its unbearable to watch. I also stream irl and its not a connection issue, theres no dropped frames or anything. It seems to be a problem between the obs/streamlabs obs and my capture card.
