Specs:
RTX 4090, i9 13900k, 64GB DDR5, NVME Drive, Win10 Pro.
Game: Shadow of Mordor, doesn't matter if I limit it to 60 oder not. Game also not relevant, happens on other games, too.
Problem: smooth when windowed, laggy when fullscreen.
Attached TaskManager screenshot (taken right after finishing the recording)
According to Log, "gpu: 0" is my 4090, even though TaskManager tells me it's "#1".
I tried "NVIDIA NVENC AV1" but also "NNVIDIA NVENC H.264" - doesn't make a difference.
I tried VBR and lossless (german: "Verlustfrei"). Image quality is better but framerate still looks choppy / going back/forth.
I tried starting OBS as Admin - doesn't help.
I'm using a 144hz GSync Monitor.
NVidia Driver is up-to-date: 531.41
OBS Version: 29.0.2
Recorded Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_LzyByrt-X0
Notes: I switch between Fullscreen and Windowed Mode (ALT+Enter) to show the difference a few times. (visible taskbar = windowed) In the end, the image even flickers (black frames) after doing so. The lag also appeared when I launched in fullscreen and didn't switch back-and-forth.
Can you help me? I can't explain the lag, the game itself is fine, only OBS recording is laggy.
