Any chance I may be able to record 720p smoothly? Any settings I can do or it is not possible due to hardware limits?

Lag every 30 seconds of a 4-min screen recording:

00:19
00:55
01:32
02:10
02:47
03:23
03:59

CPU Name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 940MX
SSD NVMe LITEON CA1-8D128
HDD WDC WD10SPZX-24Z10T0
Memory: 8GB

The whole time of a 4-min screen recording, the performance tab of the task manager constantly shows usage:

CPU: 40%
GPU 0 Intel HD Graphics 620: 35%
GPU 2 Nvidia GeForce 940MX: 35%
Memory: 40%
SSD: 1%

but the lag spikes still happen every 30 seconds

// the music game i am running is synthesia, which is a light software and should not consume much resource

the lag in this video is more serious than the every 30 second lag spike

it sounds strange as the CPU, GPU, Memory, SSD are not in full use and do not have spikes at the performance tab of the task manager the whole time while regular spikes happen at the mp4 output

o god it is crazy, my friend said that due to this: "CPU: 40% GPU 0 Intel HD Graphics 620: 35% GPU 2 Nvidia GeForce 940MX: 35% Memory: 40% SSD: 1%", it would not be graphic issue

he said it might be about the ssd in which my drop of the notebook 6 months ago may have lightly damaged the ssd which the bad sector loops back every 30 seconds

anyone who may help??? many many thanks

is this spec no way to avoid 30 secs lag spike?? if so I gotta go for a new laptop to stop these tormented nights for making it work
