Question / Help Lag on a Good PC while recording?

So I've been using OBS for 2 months now, and I've had no problems recording nor streaming. After an update, I've having terrible lag just trying to preview my screen in obs with lag in game. I get 400-500 fps and now im getting 20 fps? I just dont really understand it, and I'm in dire need of some help! I stream and record and im stuck!

I usually record at 1600x900 and 60 fps with 0 problems and smooth recording.Also, I have not done anything with my computer except update obs. Using game capture and fullscreen aswell.

That log doesn't show any recording attempt.
Have you made sure the nvidia in-game overlay is OFF?
 
In the gear icon in geforce experience.

And still no recording attempt in the log. Log files are per-launch of OBS, not per "start streaming" or such.
 
It says I recorded in the log I put in my reply to you, if I did it wrong could you tell me how to put the one you need?
 
There it is.

Turn off the nvidia in-game overlay, and change the recording format to mkv.
