I was using obs about a month ago and It worked perfectly fine and then like 2 weeks later whenever I opened obs it made minecraft lag as in 5 fps I messed around with the settings a bit and didn't change but when I remove game capture and keep display capture it doesn't lag only when I use game capture? I tried to figure this out by using the correct settings and nothing worked and I tried to reinstall obs a couple times and nothing happened.

If you are getting dropped frames, change your CPU preset to superfast or ultrafast. You could also downscale to 720p (1280x720). The best way to reduce lag is to use Quick Sync. You would have to enable the iGPU in your BIOS and your iGPU drivers (2nd generation Intel CPUs are not supported by Intel anymore, so you will have to get drivers from Windows). I have had issues with Sandy Bridge (2nd gen) Quick Sync on my old laptop, so the Quick Sync option may not work for you.
