We have a lag in our video feed from our Sony 5100 camera. Connected via HDMI/USB cable converter. We have another camera (logitech webcam) connected and it is working fine, no lag. We think it is a setting either on the camera or in OBS. Help some newbies out please! :)

Hi, I also encountered a high lag with my Sony a5100 connected via a Hauppauge HD PVR Pro 60 in OBS. After testing several settings I found the H.264 setting the culprit. Setting the format to MJPEG in OBS, the lag is gone. Also my second HDMI grabber adapter didn't have any lag with that camera. The Hauppauge can convert the hdmi feed with H.264 internally (and seems to do so by default via UVC, when no software or driver is installed for it) and this seems to add about a half of a second delay/lag.
