Hello there! I have tried OBS many times before and i love it! the only problem is that my FPS drops significantly when i start recording. Could anyone please list me some alternatives to OBS that aren't as laggy? And of course don't have a watermark and also doesn't have any video length limitations. Please help me.

OBS is one of the best streaming and recording programs when it comes to resource usage so its highly likely you either have it set up wrong or your computer is a potato

Yeah my pc is an absolute potato. But most other recording software's that i have found aren't laggy.

Um, FRAPS There you go

Please post a log Also, mention a bit about your setup beyond CPU and GPU

Recording to the same drive your OS is installed on can cause lag Recording to a slow spinning disk hard drive can cause lag, especially at high bitrates A few things can cause lag in recording
Like maxing out your game and encoding on the GPU Encoding need just a little bid of VRAM and PCI bandwidth If it's not there, Lag in recording and game for an example

Yes, why do you not upgrade that dinosaur?

Even if you want to stay on a Laptop, entry level Laptops will offer you already much more performance than that old thing. (just make sure it has an SSD and 16GB RAM)
4GB RAM is nothing, Windows 10 takes 2GB of it, Intel Graphics and the game the rest and even more, meaning the rest of RAM will be put on your Laptops HDD, where you also try to record the footage onto at the same time.

Your only hope would be using QuickSync on OBS if that Intel Chip has that, but still, the 4GB RAM will be full and you'll get the exact same issue regardless.
