Question / Help Kodi help

Hello!

When I first began using OBS, my computer was saving files as .mp4's. At some point, I thought it was after an OBS update, it started saving them as .flv files and using Kodi to open them. I would prefer them as .mp4's. Can someone please help me understand how to change how the files are being saved? I don't see it in settings in OBS, is there somewhere on my computer that I need to look. And on a side note, if you know if there is anyway to convert the flv files, that would be helpful, too.

Thank you!

If you could tell me where that is. When I look in advanced settings, I don't see that option. Thank you. It is possible I need to update, is that the problem?

Your OBS appears to be outdated if you're missing the auto remux option. Note that recording directly to MP4 via the "Recording Format" option will result in corrupted files during unclean closes.
