Question / Help Keyint and Other Commands

I record Minecraft, which doesn't respond well to temporal compression at all. One video I watched recommended adding this:
Code:
--keyint 1

Is this good to force more keyframes? Compression size isn't an issue for me. What other commands might enhance such non-live action recording?

Thanks!

Thank you! By the way, what appreciable difference exists between tuning for animation vs. film?

Еще раз спасибо!

They optimise the parameters for animation or film. It's a matter of trial and error to see which one works best. You can leave it off.

The main difference that traditionally, animation has low detail and doubled frames (and many static frames where previous image identical to the next one). The film usually means old school chemical processing footage (where film grain present).

There Tune option is almost equal to Quantization Matrix set (google it a bit). It is not recommended from changing it from default (None).
