Hey Everyone,

So I stream on Twitch and my friends and I do a weekly podcast which I stream from my PC. I'm going to use this past week's streams as examples, but my streams have been dropping frames like crazy for about a month now.

So before I continue I'll post the log from our latest podcast, hope that helps you guys help me.

I'm constantly dropping 50% or more frames pretty much every stream lately, regardless of what I'm playing, my internet connection, or what my computer is doing in the background. Even when I'm playing something not too demanding, not doing much else on the internet (across all devices), and doing almost nothing in the background I am always dropping frames.

My kb/s is always fluctuating from as low as 100 to as high as 2500 in a matter of seconds. Something else to note is that while I drop frames, the audio never cuts out.

I streamed the Dawn of War 3 closed beta over the weekend, Overwatch during the week last week, and was having the same problems even in the lobby before starting matchmaking. Now I know people are thinking "Well you're playing online games, of course your kb/s is dropping!", but I've streamed SMITE and Paragon before with little to no problems and I know how demanding those two games are to stream.

If anyone could offer any suggestions that would be awesome. If you need anymore info from me please let me know.

Thanks guys!

i think its totally fine to stream with that bitrate and play online games when you have 4mbit upload. are you using wlan or lan? i recommend lan. did you already try a different twitch server?
