Question / Help JVC GV-LS2 works in OBS Classic but not OBS Studio

Can anyone tell me why I a problem with my webcam? The JVC Cam woks great in the Classic version of OBS, but will not work in the Studio version. The Studio version does recognize the drivers for the Cam but will not show anyting, just a black screen.

I have tried reinstalling the camera drivers. Reinstalling the software. Still the same result.

the cams ouput is mpeg-2 ts 1920x1080 and 720x576 also have a motionjpeg 640x360 for monitoring... i think the real issue of this camera is the driver app (JVC CAM Driver) who only work on 32 bits app and a lot of apps doesnt work with it...i dont have any info about how its work... but you need to register the cam on the app with the log info for be able to use it....

i also try using manycam and its work for the video but it donsent send the audio

Hello, I know this is a old post but wanted to maybe get some guidance. My church has 2 JVC gv-ls2 cameras via IP. They have the JVC cam driver app set up with both cameras. They used to use OBS classic to live stream on facebook. Since Facebook now only allows SSL connection, the classic OBS can not connect to server. They downloaded OBS studio. The problem is that studio does not see the JVC camera for me to select as a video capture device. I know JVC driver app runs 32bit and I saw they had installed the 64bit OBS studio version. I will remove 64bit and install the 32bit version of OBS studio. Will that fit the issue? Also to add do I still use Video capture device as the option? Thanks for your help
