I do not know if this is the right place for this thread, but I feel that this needs to be said. I don't want to say this on Twitter because it requires more than 140 characters, and if this is not the place for this thread, I do apologize to everyone here.
With that said, I begin my statement:
I have been a streamer on various sites for 5 years. I have undergone all kinds of Hardware and software changes in that span of time: Memory increases, hard drives Processing power, graphics cards, and so on. I have played a ton of games and had so much fun streaming for my followers - from celebrations and WTF moments to ragequits. I've been through it all. And through all of that, there has been one constant... actually make that two: can't forget my girlfriend as the first, and the second constant is OBS.
In the very beginning of streaming, I did use XSplit for 2-3 months, but after that, I have used nothing else since. OBS is an amazing piece of software. Despite the very few problems and issues I've had with it, I stand by it as a solid and reliable piece of software for streaming. I'm using OBS Studio now and I have no regrets. I want to thank the devs for their hard work and dedication to the software and to the community. It has always been greatly appreciated by me, and I'm sure many if not all here agree with that.
Thank you so much for OBS.
