Just downloaded OBS into a new computer and Blackmagic devices aren't showing up on the sources menu...

I've tried deleting and re-installing, and have copied it from my other laptop on to my new laptop via usb stick but no dice.
It's a new work computer (macbook pro) but I'm a windows guy so had IT install it. Blackmagic Desktop Video Utility running and it sees the Mini Recorder fine. Any thoughts? (aside from the just run Mac comments - unless they're actually valid ... I mean actually valid)
