Getting jittery/choppy recording. Using Game Capture with Limit Capture Framerate on for games around 120fps. Monitor is set to 120hz instead of usual 165hz, freesync is on.
I recently got the gpu and I'm having the same issue I had with my 1660 super so I'm confused. I've checked log files and nothing apparent or wrong comes up.

I can't see anything wrong with the logfile. Perhaps you could look through the examples and demos in this video demo site to classify your issue better: https://testufo.com/stutter#demo=smooth&foreground=ffffff&background=000000&pps=720
ok, only one that seemed weird was the gsync one, didnt seem like it was going very well, the rest of them seemed like the ordinary. Is it possible I need to have vsync enabled for these games to appear more stable in recordings? because it seemed like in blur busters that vsync on looked the best for me.

Vsync on will help with more stable/smooth fps. It makes it so that frames are generated in a fixed fps schema, so the time between frames is all the same. Gsync begins rendering and shows frames as soon as the system is ready, so the time between frames is a bit variable. Since the monitor displays also variable, it appears as smooth. But OBS still grabs the frames in a constant fps schema, so slight stutter/non-smoothness may be introduced that is visible in the video only, but not on a gsync monitor.
