Hello! So, for the past few months I've been wanted to create some content related to Minecraft. However, I've been experiencing a pretty annoying problem in my recordings. Basically, my game is operating perfectly fine, but my recording is really jittery and shaky.
Here is the example: https://youtu.be/Us1H0jbl1ow
As you can see, whenever I move around in the game, the recording just shakes and stutters if that's the way to say it. It's just not smooth for my liking. And if you look in the top left of the recording, you can see I'm getting 700-900 fps in game.
And here is the log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/qIVws-tLo0DCLvcu
PC specs:
Device name DESKTOP-TASIRH4
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
GPU: GeForce GTX 1650 Super
Monitor is 60 hz
OBS settings:
Keep in mind, I have tried many solutions. I ran OBS as administrator, I reduced in-game settings, I reduced the framerate, I reduced the bitrate, I tried different rate controls, I increased OBS process priority in task manager and in the software itself, I tried using display capture instead of game capture, I turned gamemode off, and reduced resolution. However, none of this seemed to solve the problem. There was only one time where I got a smooth recording but it didn't work after that either.
One more thing: I tried using Nvidia Shadowplay to record. It was much smoother and I had no issues. However, Shadowplay can only record at a max of 60 fps. I want 120 fps. This is because if I record in 120 fps, I can use Vegas (editing software) render settings to add a nice clean motion blur affect to the recording. I tried doing the same thing with 60 fps but it didn't work properly.
So, any help on this would be appreciated :)
