I've looked at every post on here and tried everything, setting fps ingame, changing bitrate, turning off nvenc, setting monitor refresh rate, all of it that I cant find and it still just lagging for seamingly no reason. I have 32gb of ram, rtx 3050 and intel i7 11700k idk if that helps but if anyone can help me that would be much appreciated!
I've had issues with framerate in recording even though the game is set to 60fps

You didn't look at the pinned posts. Please read the pinned posts on this forum.
Also, windows media player isn't good enough. You should use VLC player or similar to play the recorded videos.
The best settings your computer can manage without issues are those provided by the Auto-configuration Wizard (tools menu)
