Hello I am using OBS Studio version 20.0.1 on my laptop on windows 10 64 bit. I got An I7 processor, 8Gb RAM, 2Gb NVidia 630M grafic card. I did all the changes on the NVIDIA Control Panel as you explained and put on global settings High Performance NVidia Processor. Then I put my game (Naruto Online - played in mini client in window mode) on using the same global settings. I even made another shorcut to OBS 64bit.exe and run it like administrator. Then I restarted the OBS from there and the game. The result is the same whatever capture I use game capture or display capture - black screen. The only thing I recording is the sound. What to do? I can't capture screen either -black screen also.

Question / Help I've encountered black screen when trying to record anything. I recorded only sound.

This is happening to me too. I've tried everything on the pinned post about CPU encding and everything online. Nothing works. Please help.
EDIT: Are you on Windows 10? If so, disable the Game Mode. I am not at my PC to see if it works but Overwatch activates the game mode and Team Fortress 2 does not, which would explain why I had no problem generating a replay buffer for Team Fortress 2. Cheers.

In Game Mode menu from windows settings I don't have an open / close button. But I used win key + G and I managed to open game bar. In game bar is shown that my game mode is off. Still the same black screen.
