I'm trying to implement this thing, basically on the BRB scene I want to play a playlist of videos on shuffle to entertain while I am away.
I tried the VLC Video Source but the audio cuts in and out constantly, sounds like the EQ is over modulated and when it peeks it cuts out. These videos
play absolutely fine in every other player Ive thrown at it, so its and obs issue.
So I figure, F-IT! I'll use a work around I found called "obs-random-vid", its a local browser source, that will play a playlist of videos at random. BUT also
randomly it freezes, its kinda old and not been updated in forever. Audio plays fine this way as well, so the distortion is some fucking issue with vlc video
source.
I thought the freezing might be bitrate related, because Ive had transition videos that shuddered and looked like shit because the bitrate i originally encoded
them to. But nope, Ive tried all variety of bitrates and they still freeze.
So I cant fricking win, either have bad audio, or freeze ups, or fuck the feature, I cant think/find another option.
Ideas how to fix vlc video source? another plugin like obs-random-vid you know of? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
