Maybe it's installing to the wrong folder..
Make sure it installs here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe"

Make sure your Desktop SHORTCUT points here also: "C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\64bit\obs64.exe"

im having lotta trouble with the same problem, i deleted every obs related files i could. was that a good idea? just so i can restart all over but it still said that
