Question / Help Issues with Video Recording in OBS

I am trying to set up a gaming channel on YouTube and trying to use OBS Studio to do it, but it's proving difficult because OBS Studio is not working for me (though it's also difficult for me to get my microphone working but that's a separate issue).

With OBS it's a mix of both the game's own problems and OBS. When I rewatch my recordings from OBS Studio the audio works fine but the video itself freezes and lags at random spots, more like a slideshow than a video with hardly any real movement.

I do not know if this is an issue with the game (or if that would be a separate issue) or if it is with my settings or my pc itself, but it's very irritating since it's not very presentable.

AMD apus generally are not recommended as processors for systems.

Current/recent intel i5/i7 processors and the ryzen series are what are currently recommended, but if you go the ryzen route, make sure you update the motherboard bios.

would this machine's cpu be powerful enough? Just ordered it. To be fair, even the games themselves have lagging problems with my current machine.
