Hi, I just got done having a 3rd recording session fail because I can't figure out what is wrong with OBS (or maybe mac, idk).
Hardware: 2021 Mabook pro with m1MAX chip and 32gb ram.
Software: OBS 30.0.2 and Davinci Resolve 18.6.3 build 19 (DVR is only relevant as one of the issues I ended up fixing was that the file would play on the mac, but then show as not there in DVR, or the audio wouldn't be. That issue has been solved through hours of messing with settings and watching "best settings" videos that usually broke it worse LOL)
I'm new to this, but the issues have been all over the place. We are trying to record a chrome page for a tutorial on how to use a software. First, the image quality was awful, then the recording defaulted to a fraction the size of the screen, then the audio was bad, and now we got all that squared away, it doesn't record the mouse, and just stops when we try to actually DO anything.
It just shows no cursor, and stops showing anything after we click a button on Chrome. This happened in the window "scene" mode, but seems to have also happened in the Mac OS screen record mode as well.
I don't know what all the settings I need to tell you about, sorry. Let me know what you need to help figure it out. I'm sure that it's a setting that's wrong, or something, but it's beyond frustrating and the poor guy I'm trying to record is wasting time on this (and I'm wasting time on it too. I probably have 5 or 6 hours in videos and forums and messing with settings.)
