Question / Help Issues with fps/sound during recording/streaming

I'm trying to be able to stream/record videos of ps1 gameplay via an emulator. I'm using the latest version of OBS Studio and I've got win7 ultimate 64-bit.

Whether I'm recording only or streaming only the same issue occurs in that the in-game sound will start stuttering/echoing and that the fps will suddenly drop. I'm only trying to record/stream at 30fps. In some spots my fps/sound are perfectly fine, but in others they act up and the frames drop down to 18-21~ which makes things really odd.

If I use fraps I'm able to record at 30 fps without the sound stuttering/echoing or the fps dropping. I'm also able to stream via Steam and it maintains 30 fps without sound issues either.

Would greatly appreciate any help with getting OBS Studios to work instead. Thank you for your time!

That is a link to my log file since it was too big for the code tags.

Is your Keyframe Interval set to 4 seconds? Set it to 2 seconds and try again.

Other than that, nothing really stands out from your logs to me. It doesn't show any dropped/skipped/lagged frames. Did you experience issues during this streaming/recording session?

It was set to 0 which is automatic.

The stream itself and the recording themselves get choppy at spots and the sound messes up as I'm saying, but it's not just the stream/recording. For some reason it actually causes the game itself as a whole to literally have those issues. So I'm even having the fps drop/hearing issues while playing. This doesn't happen at all until I start to record or stream. :(

Tried at both 2 and 4. Didn't seem to make a difference. Also I noticed that it seems to happen even with OBS simply running. (I.e. Not recording nor streaming; simply running)

Basically seems to happen as soon as OBS hooks into it?
Also happens whether or not I've got 'Preview' enabled.

Also figured that I should specify which emulator it is I'm using and that would be Epsxe.
