I have pretty decent speeds, usually coming in around 10-20, but no higher than 30mb/s upload. Yet have been having issues with OBS dropping anywhere between 10 to even sometimes, 50% of frames with varied bitrate options. Using CBR at 6000kb/s, 4500kb/s, or even lower down to 3000kb/s which is half of what I've used without issues in the past.
I have had several techs from my ISP come out and inspect our connections. Some have found ingress and jitter in the signal, yet most recently a tech has replaced the drop (connection from the tap to my house), and the line directly from the house to the modem. So both lines are brand new. There are two other lines that are separate that are running cable tv for the rest of my family and those are scheduled to be replaced Monday, but I'm curious if there are any recommendations you folks might have when discussing a solution with my ISP, or things I can try on my own to have a clean, steady connection and get back to streaming regularly.
