Issue with Trust GXT 232 USB Mic

Hi, I am new to OBS and I'm having a issue with recording.
I have set up tracks for system sound capture and for the mic.
Both the System audio and mic show as active and working in the audio mixer. When I start recording only the system sound is captured. If I play around with the OBS settings I can get the mic recorded, but I then the system audio isn't recorded. It seems that they cancel the other out.
If I use the same track for both the mic and system audio they both get recorded.
How do I get them to record on their own tracks?

My OS is Windows 11 and OBS has all of the permissions.

I've tried different Microphones with usb and with 3.5 mm jack connectors, and all of them will only record on the same track as the desktop audio. Each time I assign the Desktop audio or the mic to a different track, one of them doesn't get recorded.
So now is it down to my sound card or is it a issue with OBS?

By using trial and error I've got it working.
I've discovered that all audio devices need to be assigned to track 1 and the track for each audio device.

Also the Output Format needs to be mkv, as for some reason OBS mp4 files aren't able to save as a multi track file.
The mkv file can then be converted to mp4 using the OBS Rumix Recording.
Track 1 can then be removed in the video editing software, leaving just your audio devices on their own tracks.
Hopefully this will help others that are having the issue?
