issue with stream info when using Restream account connection

Hello there,
I stream via restream.io to Twitch and YouTube. In OBS Studio (under settings > Stream) I use the "auto connection" of my restream account. I only streamed ETS2 up until now. Today I wanted to switch to a different game/category. But every time I switched the category on twitch and I started my stream, the category went back to ETS2.

Then I disabled the "auto connection" of restream.io and used a dedicated stream key instead. Suddenly the categories didn't change back on Twitch.

Does anybody know how to solve that issue without using a dedicated stream key? I'd love to use "auto connect" of restream.io again because I miss the docks of restream.io in my OBS Studio.

You can absolutely take advantage of the auto-connection to Restream and keep the setup of being logged in to your Restream account.

When you connect Restream to OBS through the integration, your OBS is connected to a specific stream setup on Restream. That setup is labeled "Default RTMP" if you go to your Restream home screen. Is there any chance you were updating your stream details via a different setup, and not the default one? Titles, game selection, etc. are tied to each setup, so it'd be great to make sure you're streaming to the same setup you've been updating!

Also, you'd wanna make sure you're updating your game selection on Restream, not directly on Twitch. You can do that by clicking "Edit" next to your Twitch channel and selecting your game/stream category from that menu.

In terms of next steps, try the following:
1. Log into Restream on OBS
2. From the docks that will load up, use the "Restream Channels" one, click Edit next to Twitch, and select the game you'll be streaming. You can do the same thing through the "Default RTMP" draft on the Restream website.
3. Start streaming via OBS - you should see the right game on Twitch.
