I generally stream console stuff via an Elgato HD60 Pro, and my streams work fine. It's picking up game audio & mic without a problem. The issue is, I need to be able to hear myself as well (via headphones), I sometimes get that to work with the monitor only (mute output) feature.
Problem is, sometimes when I start up OBS, it'll randomly switch where it decides my voice is actually going to output from. Instead of my headset, It'll output my voice to my desktop speakers, and my microphone will obviously pick that up, causing a pretty bad echo (and I can't hear it at all, with headphones on.)
Does anyone have a solution for this, or know why the output is switching around randomly? Is there a way to manually select the audio output destination for Monitoring (which would immediately solve this issue)? Help would really be appreciated!
