So running into an issue creating multiple audio tracks in OBS Studio using RogueAmoeba Loopback software.
In Loopback I have 2 virtual audio devices created. One is coming from my DAW, Cubase Pro and the other is coming from input 1 on my audio interface, which is for my microphone.
In OBS Audio Settings Mic/Aux Audio is set to my Cubase Pro virtual audio interface in Loopback, which goes to Output channels 1/2 in Loopback. The Mic/Aux Audio 2 is set to the Microphone, which is the name of the 2nd virtual audio interface in Loopback. This is also outputting to channels 1/2 in Loopback. If I try to go to different channels, OBS doesn't get a signal.
In my Recording settings in OBS I have tracks 1 and 2 checked and I set bitrate to 320 for tracks 1 and 2 in the Output Audio settings. I also name each track. Then in the advance audio settings I have audio for Cubase set to track 1 and microphone to track 2.
Issue is the recorded file only has Cubase Pro audio, not the microphone. I have to enable both tracks for the microphone to be picked up but them both audio tracks have Cubase Pro and Microphone audio. Then I can change the mix after the fact.
One time I got this to work, but can't now. I think it may work if I set the actual audio interface in OBS for my microphone, as opposed to using Loopback.
Curious if anyone has any thoughts on this and if I can resolve.
