Issue in window 7 with hp laptop

Hello All,

I am facing a shut down of my laptop while recording video on obs and i am using window 7 with 4 gb ram and hp laptop.

Kindly suggest the solution.

You probably made sure that it has nothing to do with empty batteries... Since you're using Windows 7, is the laptop "a bit older"? It might be the case that your laptop is so busy that it's getting overheated and then will shut down to prevent further hardware damage. Does it feel hot/warm after these shutdowns, maybe at the bottom? Then you should look for more powerful hardware, or record at lower quality (resolution, fps, bitrate, CPU Usage Preset, etc.)
