Question / Help Is this stream quality right for my settings?

Hello,

I've been trying to get the best quality possible with my 2pc setup, but for some reason every other stream looks better to my eyes ( could be a problem in my head rather than on the stream) I use a laptop to capture and stream what shows on my gaming pc trough a avermedia GC550 capture card.

So the question is if the quality seems off to you guys or is it just my head?

Settings i use on obs are:

If you are not Twitch Partner, decrease bitrate to 3500.
Do not rescale AGAIN in Output settings. You have rescaled in VIDEO settings

Thanks for the reply.

I am currently partnered.

Here's the log: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/88e06edb54c0ac7653092691f895add9

I had replicated settings on my gaming pc except for the resolution scaling.
As it turns out i have set the video settings as follows and have the scaling on output side.

DON´T TOUCH IT! (I think ;) )
17:13:00.669: Output 'adv_stream': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 6253 (0.7%)
17:13:00.669: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 297 (0.0%)

You use encoder profile MEDIUM (you have a good CPU)
0,7 % encoding lag. I think you don´t need to rise from Medium to Fast.

As far as I know, Video Settings rescale is always made by GPU. Output rescale in x264 is made by CPU
You can try rescaling in Video and not in Output. Quality will be the same. Just try and observe if you get better "feelings"
(You have strong CPU and GPU)

As for quality you can't see anything wrong with it? (on the video i linked)

Fluid, no pixelation. Good image (a quick scan)

You can try adding Sharpen filter to your sources or only to your scene.

YUV color space 709 full gives more saturated colors than 601. Try both and choose what you consider better.
