Is this scenario possible, before I dive in?

Hey obs community! Heres the situation.

I would like to have 5 cameras in the barn stalls, livestreaming pregnant goats that are about ready to give birth.

I would like to be able to switch cameras remotely, or even just on the same network from within the house.

I just purchased streamyard, so I can stream to multiple platforms at once. It tells me to use OBS for additional cameras.

What cameras would you reccomend? Can i use old cell phones for this?

Is this setup possible? I would also like to pull audio from each animal stall camera, so we can hear when a goat is in distress.

Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely

Hello Justin,

The easiest way would be to use wireless surveillance camera and feed OBS using the RTSP protocol from these cameras. In OBS you will add these 5 cameras as Media Source and you will see them. Then create the Scene you wish to output as a livestream.

I hope this helps.
