Hi, I'm using the Logitech C920 webcam to capture video and a Rode SmartLav+ to capture the audio thru my USB port.
It took me a while to figure this out and I'm wondering if this is actually a bug. (I'm using latest OBS on Windows 10)
When I assign the external mic as a custom audio device for the C920 Video Capture Device, the VU levels show appropriate activity in the Audio Mixer panel - however, the recorded videos contain only silence on the audio track.
But if create a distinct Audio Input Capture source and assign the external USB mic there instead, then the audio gets recorded along with the video.
OK as a workaround but... is this really normal? (see screenshots)
