Question / Help Is there ANY way whatsoever I can get OBS to run with Intel's QuickSync on Linux?

Hey folks!

Given the circumstances I have, I've been forced to install Ubuntu Studio in my MacBook Pro (After unsuccessfully trying to install windows 10). So far so good, however I'm having a hell of a time trying to get OBS to run with QuickSync.

System Specs:
* Mid 2012 non-retina MacBook Pro 13"
* Intel Core i7 3520M
* GPU: Intel HD 4000 (should support QuickSync)
* 16GB of DDR3 RAM
* macOS Sierra / Ubuntu Studio (Latest version as of today)

So when I open OBS and check the encoder options, only x264 is there, but no QuickSync.

WHY?

Is there ANY way whatsoever to get QuickSync to show up? I need my laptop to be capable of streaming in a couple weeks as I'll have to travel, and I plan to do streams on the go (Camgirl on chaturbate, for obvious reasons I can't take my gaming desktop with me, which is what I mostly use for live shows).

Yes, FFMpeg is installed and apprently it's the latest version (I triple checked this).

Am I missing something? Is there any way to get this done :'(

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
