Is there a way to test sync for a wireless signal and adjust?

My current setup is:
Canon Vixia HR 800 camcorder
- Connected to a -
STARTECH.COM USB 3.0 VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICE - HDMI USB3HDCAP
- Connected to a
Core i5 laptop via USB
- Recording with OBS

This setup works perfectly.

My desire is to send a wireless signal from my Canon Vixia HR 800 camcorder to my laptop.

When attempting to add a Cable Matters Wireless HDMI Extender (Model 103079) into the mix, all I recieve is a green display.

The tested new setup configuration is:
Canon Vixia HR 800 camcorder
- Sending the signal from the camcorder via
Cable Matters Wireless HDMI Extender (Model 103079)
- Connected to a -
STARTECH.COM USB 3.0 VIDEO CAPTURE DEVICE - HDMI USB3HDCAP
- Connected to a
Core i5 laptop via USB
- Recording with OBS

I am assuming that this is a sync issue.
If I connect the Cable Matters Wireless HDMI Extender (Model 103079) from the camcorder to a stand alone monitor, the signal is good. This is why I think it is a sync issue.
Do you know of a possible solution to resolve this problem?

Compatible with HDCP compliant equipment for viewing copy protected content.

Why I have this suspect, that the extender adds by-default HDCP even for a clean signal.
Thing is, that HDMI input cards can't read HDCP content and this is most likely why you get a green screen.

I would ask further assistance from the extender manufactor with an email or by issue ticket.
Oddly enough the manuals are mising from the homepages as well there was no knowledge base articles as well to know for sure.

Check the input signal with television or a pc monitor: see if you get non-green image there..
most tv models can show an info from menus - if the signal is clean or if it has HDCP protection enabled.
