Is there a way to switch display capture resolution?

I'm trying to stream CSGO on a 4:3 ratio at 1440x1080. However, when I use display capture (which I need to do because CS doesn't allow game capture anymore), the image gets pushed to the side and I get a block bar on one side of the stream. I've managed to fix this by setting the video resolution in OBS settings to the 1440x1080 resolution. However, I was wondering if there was any way to have the display capture dynamically change when I alt tab or launch another program that's my default resolution. Thanks!

By other program, you mean streaming another game with a different resolution or a program while CSGO is running?

Also, why stream at 4:3 aspect ratio?
