I'm looking for potential solutions to avoid recording video only to realize after I've finished that there was no audio.
My external microphone sometimes is set as Audio 2 when I plug it in, sometimes it doesn't and I have to manually set it again. Often I forget to test the mic to see if it's set up.
I also have my laptop microphone off because I usually use the external, but in cases where I use my laptop with no mic I sometimes forget to turn the audio on.
I realize a solution would be to remember to check every time but I want to see if there is a setting or some other way to force there to be audio, some safeguard for this situation.
