Question / Help Is there a way to increase my audio level within OBS?

I've tried to make a couple videos and while I can hear myself clearly, I would like my volume to be louder overall. I'm not talking about a need for major increases, as though I'm inaudible...just wondering if there is a setting or something I can work with inside OBS to help improve my sound levels. Thanks!

Ok, so I'm not gonna lie, reading that made my head hurt a little! The explanations of the different filtering is simple enough, and it seems I could use some gain...but the talk of different programs and where to put files so OBS detects was over my head...do you have a program you would recommend for a novice user and some hints on how to use it to improve my OBS performance? Thanks in advance for any support you can offer!

I'm not sure what you mean by program to improve OBS performance.

The new user guide is here: https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio/wiki/OBS-Studio-Overview

OBS is a fairly complicated program, though. I strongly suggest you take the time to sit down and read through the guide and experiment until you're comfortable with how it works.
I will take a look through the guide and see what I can learn then, thanks. When I say improve my OBS performance, I just mean getting a slightly louder output from my mic when recording in OBS. I created my first Youtube video and my voice just didn't pop...I'm using a Blue Snowball, which I know isn't a high end mic by any means, but it gets good reviews and I'm hoping it is capable of giving me just a little more...cheers!

Oh, you just add the gain filter by clicking the gear icon next to the audio device in the OBS mixer -> filters

Then the + sign at the bottom, pick Gain and it should make sense from there.

Thank you, I've just now found this part, unfortunately my dog is driving me crazy, so I'm gonna go pay her some attention and try this out a little more later on. Thanks again for your help!
